The best and most beautiful things in this world cannot be seen or even heard, but must be felt with the heart. Life without love is like a tree without blossoms or fruit. The best thing to hold onto in life is each other.

“We have to allow ourselves to be loved by the people who really love us, the people who really matter. Too much of the time, we are blinded by our own pursuits of people to love us, people that don't even matter, while all that time we waste and the people who do love us have to stand on the sidewalk and watch us beg in the streets! It's time to put an end to this. It's time for us to let ourselves be loved.”

Sizing is just a number

IMG_1946.jpg

Bridal sizing isn’t like typical street wear sizing. While you might be a size 8-10 in jeans, you’re in fact a bridal size 12-14. Don’t worry about it–sizing is just a number! You’ll likely see most of our samples in a bridal size 10, 12, or 14, to try on. We Measure bust, hips and your natural waist to find the perfect size for you.

Sample Gowns

IMG_1942 (1).jpg

Our sample gowns vary from size 10-14. We also carry plus size gowns.

Bridal Appointment

IMG_1944.jpg

When you say “yes” to your dream dress, one of our experienced consultants will take three measurements we discussed. Your bust, waist and hip. Your dress is then ordered to your largest measurement. Because designers do not accommodate a “split size”—meaning you may be a 4 on top but your hip measurement calls for an 8—we’ll order you a size 8 and alter it to fit you to your exact body. specifications.

Alterations

IMG_1947.jpg

We require 6-8 for alterations. However you can start them as early as possible if you are maintaining your weight. Our seamstress has worked in the business for over 20 years and has altered many different designers with over 1,000 gowns.

Be sure to bring your day-of essentials to get a true fit. You will need to bring your day of wedding shoes or similar shoes with exact heel height.

If your weight fluctuates after you've ordered your dress, or even after it arrives, don't worry too much. If a bride loses weight, the gown will be taken during your fitting appointment. If a bride gains weight, we will try to open the seams and release some extra fabric, "If there is not enough fabric to work with, we can order fabric from the designer and a panel can be added to the dress.

If your are adding lace, sleeves ect that will be done during your first fitting. Usually you will only need 2 fittings.

Your second fitting is when you visualize the perfect gown on your perfect day and can really see it on you.

We will do a light steam and package your gown so it ready for its debut down the aisle.

Ultimate Guide to Veils

So you have found your dress, now its time to pick out the perfect veil to complete your bridal look! When choosing the perfect veil its all about complimenting you and your gown.  The possibilities are endless, but no worries here are a few tips and trick to help find the dress best suited for you and your gown!

Length

The first thing to consider when picking out your veil is the length you prefer. Do you prefer a short and simple Elbow length veil or a full dramatic Cathedral length veil? The most common lengths are Fingertip which will fall at your fingertips when your hands are at your sides, and Cathedral which often ends past the train of your gown. Its best to try both lengths in your appointment to see what look you like best.

Shape

The second thing to consider is the shape of your veil to compliment your gown. There is the straight cut or U-cut, which is a classic and will pair nicely with any gown. An angel cut veil creates a V-shape which will fall in beautiful cascades in the back, which will suit fit and flare dresses. Handkerchief veils or square cut create voluminous layers which will compliment bohemian style or whimsical dresses. The last shape will be the circle or oval veils this shape will give you volume by adding a blusher. a blusher will be the piece that drapes over the face, often used in traditional ceremonies.

Finish

Next thing will be finishes, the simplest finish will be the raw cut tulle. Other trims include satin ribbon, organza ribbon as well as pencil stitching,  Having a trim will help outline the veil and make it easier to photograph. If you want full drama you can chose a beaded veil or a romantic lace veil.
